A Truck Records head to head featuring Goldrush and The Rock of Travolta @ the Zodiac
This will be Goldrush's first proper gig since changing their name from Whispering Bob. Recently they've been getting lots of interests from record labels. Let's just hope that the interest is based on their music, and not record labels wanting to cash in on gentle indie type music a la Coldplay and Travis, but knowing the music indusry it probably is. Playing with Goldrush are their current labelmates who are probably as different from Goldrush as can be, though also representing a side of indie music that's popular at the moment. The Rock of Travolta appeared out of nowhere last summer, and since then has been wowing local audiences with their music, and attitude. It's only a matter of time that the TROT virus (making anyone who sees the band, like the band) spreads outside of this county and into the rest of the country. |
