It seems that now that they've taken over Oxford, OMC's next plan of action is to take over the country. Last night, when Radio 1's Lamacq Live was broadcast from Oxford, there was a 10 minute feature about the music scene in Oxford. In the course of the feature all the major players of OMC were interviewed, Ronan, Mac, Dave etc as well as Robin Truck. If you missed it, the feature is still available on the Radio 1 website.
26/01/00 Ah well I was going to wait a bit before revealing that Whispering Bob has changed their name to Goldrush. But since Phill Travolta has revealed it on the Nightshift board, I might as well post it now. The reason for the name change is unclear since, Whispering Bob was such a great name, but no doubt it's to do with all the meetings they've had recently with many labels.
