The Eels will be playing at the Oxford Apollo on 18th July.
It looks like Dustball's new project Crewdo doesn't exist anymore. Apparently James has lost his passion for drumming, while the whole band are generally more involved in their studies. The band are currently in their 3rd year of university (I think)

It looks like another of our local venues is disappearing. The Jericho is closing down to be refurbished but after that the new owners are starting a pay to play scheme, which is unfair on the up and coming bands that usually play there. So there goes the last remaining main venue in Oxford that was outside of the Cowley road. And we thought that venues were going to start spreading around Oxford too.

Meanwhile the next 3 months will be busy festival wise. In June there will be the Chalbury festival, organised by Josh and Siobhan of Canola. Then in July there will be Truck, organised by Robin Whispering Bob and his mates, and in August there is a new festival in Didcot, organised by a member of the Kamikazi Kittens.
